How we collect, use, and protect your information
Last updated: July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how GlobalBrands.ai (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information when you visit this website, submit an enquiry, or enter into a services discussion with us. We are an independent e-commerce consulting practice, not a fund or financial institution, and we collect only what a services engagement of this kind reasonably requires.
We collect only what we need to evaluate a potential engagement and to comply with our legal obligations:
We do not sell personal information. We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal effects without human review.
Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: (a) your consent, where given; (b) steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract; (c) our legitimate interests in evaluating and conducting business relationships; and (d) compliance with a legal obligation.
We disclose personal information only to:
Our current processors include, at minimum: our website host, our form-processing provider, our scheduling provider, and our video-hosting provider. A current list is available on request to privacy@globalbrands.ai.
We work with prospective clients across multiple jurisdictions. Where personal information is transferred outside your home jurisdiction, we rely on appropriate safeguards including standard contractual clauses or an adequacy determination, as applicable.
Engagement records are retained for the duration of the relationship and for a minimum of seven years thereafter, or longer where a legal, regulatory, tax, or limitation-period requirement applies. Unsuccessful enquiries are retained for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, contact privacy@globalbrands.ai. We respond within the period required by applicable law. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the site and, where permitted, analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling non-essential cookies does not affect your ability to use the site.
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encryption in transit, access controls limited to personnel with a business need, and vendor due diligence. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not guarantee absolute security.
We will post any material change to this policy on this page with a revised effective date. Questions or requests: privacy@globalbrands.ai.
We are telling you this directly rather than leaving you to find it out: GlobalBrands.ai has not yet incorporated a company. We currently operate as an independent consulting practice. Formal company registration is in progress, and this page will be updated with the incorporated entity’s name, jurisdiction, and registration number as soon as that happens. Until then, any engagement would be entered into with the named principal consultant directly, not with a corporate entity.
